Developing the Young Workforce
Developing the Young Workforce (DYW)
In line with one of the key national priorities of preparing young people for the world of work, DYW plays a significant role in equipping our pupils with the knowledge, skills and experience for their transition out of school.
Our aim, as outlined in our three year improvement plan, is to embed the underpinning principles of DYW into our curriculum and everyday practice, and to develop partnerships with employers along the way to support our curriculum in replicating the demands of the competitive world we live in today.
Examples of our DYW related work including the vast array of initiatives with our partners are regularly shared on our social media platforms, department noticeboards and the department specific tabs on our web page.
