Like most Highland Council Schools Millburn Academy operates a 32 period week of 50 minute periods. The school day starts at 8.40 for a 10 minute information sharing (IS) block which allows all classes to share messages for the running of the school. One morning a week each year group will meet in the hall during IS for a year group assembly. Morning break is 15 minutes and lunch is 1.15 - 2.00 pm.
