Help and Guidance

Millburn Academy has a department called ‘Guidance’.  These people are there to help you and solve any problems you are concerned about.  They deal with any bullying and worrying issues you may have.  Each Guidance teacher is in charge of a house, either Moy, Ruthven, Ashie, Garth or Farraline.

The Guidance Department can be found by entering the school through the main reception doors and turning left along the corridor. The Guidance room is on your right.

There is also the School Leadership Team (SLT).  They are located in the same corridor and are more than happy to help or answer any questions that you may have about the school.

However, if you would feel more comfortable speaking to a class teacher, they will try their hardest to help you and can be approached at anytime.

Also, there are a large number of older pupils, including House Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects and Activities Coordinators who are there to support you.  You can contact them in person, by our electronic noticeboard or using the suggestion boxes that are in every classroom.
