A student planner is a diary that you are given at the start of each year to record upcoming events, your timetable, homework, merits, addresses and attendance. It is useful to keep you up to date with school events and as a reminder of homework that has to be done. Every day you must bring your student planner to school to record homework and other important information. You should also look at it every night at home. If you lose your planner there is a 50p replacement charge.
Merits are given out as rewards for a variety of reasons. They can be given to you for good behaviour, wearing school uniform, doing homework, good test results, being organised, being helpful and many more. A bronze award is presented to you if you receive 25 merits. For a silver you need 50 and to get a gold award you must have 75 merits.
